This is my newest image, taken last night in La Jolla during one of the best sunsets we have had in a little while here on the west coast (Pacific) in California…
Weather has been quite warm, and with the coastal flow I guessed that the clouds might become quite spectacular last night, plus the high tide was right at sunset, plus these rocks and the channels have just recently be re-exposed, so it all set up pretty nicely for me last night.
This long exposure was captured about 10 minutes after the sun had set… and it was one of those nights at the beach were you just really do not want to leave because the colors just keep glowing in glowing…
And, those of you that know me, know the reasons why I have to give a call-out and thanks to my friend and fellow photog Chip Morton for the inspiration behind this composition.
